Angelina College board members and administrators recognized faculty and staff during Monday’s annual Faculty Banquet held at Crown Colony Country Club in Lufkin.

Among those receiving awards were Elaine Young, Pharmacy Technology instructor, who received the Minnie Stevens Piper Nomination. Susan Honeywell, Speech instructor, and David Turbeville, Electronics instructor, received awards as representatives for the Roundup for Great Teaching.

In addition, the college honored recent retirees, including Dr. Cecil Brewer, George Davis and Scott Hutzell, Technology and Workforce Division; Karen Foley, Liberal Arts Division; Bob Quillin and Lydia Medina, Adult Education; and Linvell Price and Jerry Whitaker, Tech Prep Partnership.
