Something very big is soon to drive in and make home in Palestine!
A very big bus is coming to PRMC with the capability of providing advanced medical transportation services during a large scale disaster. The Ambulance Bus (AMBUS) is one of only 8 assigned to the State of Texas. Palestine Regional Medical Center and our own EMS will be the “host” for this extraordinary vehicle.
The AMBUS is licensed as a specialty emergency medical services vehicle and is designed to serve as mass casualty transportation. It can also be used to care for the sick and injured on-site, as well as transport emergency responders across a variety of incidents which may threaten the health and safety of those in our region and across the State of Texas.
