A Trinity County man has been arrested for harboring a runaway and sexual assault of a child.

According to the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler Dethloff, 18, of Trinity County, was arrested on Thursday, January 31, 2013 on charges of harboring a runaway child, a Class A Misdemeanor and Sexual Assault of a Child, a Second Degree Felony.

The child that Dethloff  was harboring has been returned to their family.

If convicted of these charges, Dethloff could be facing a prison term of two to 20 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine for the Second Degree Felony and a confinement for up to a year in a county jail and a fine up to $4,000 for the Class A Misdemeanor.
