The Crockett Police Department is investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred on W. Goliad over the weekend.
According to a press release from Crockett Police Chief David Cross, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of W. Goliad at approximately 1:15 on Saturday, March 23, 2013, in reference to shots fired in the area.
Through their initial investigation officers learned that three masked men, described as possibly being two black males and one Hispanic with handguns, entered a residence without consent. The three men demanded money from the four occupants inside the residence. The gunmen reportedly fired several rounds inside the residence during the incident, not striking anyone and later fled the scene.
Chief Cross stated, “Anyone with any information about this aggravated robbery is encouraged to contact Crockett Investigator Fajardo or any officer with the Crockett Police Department at 936-544-2021. You do not have to give your name and can remain anonymous.”
